GENERAL ANESTHESIA & SEDATION

 GENERAL ANESTHESIA & SEDATION

At Dentistanbul Dental Hospital, we have a 10-bed service and a full-fledged operating room (tooth extraction, gum treatment, implant, bone graft, bone cyst, etc.) and non-surgical (tooth filling, root canal treatment, etc.) treatments are applied.
What is Sedation?
Sedation is a state of deep sleep which is created with some medications without losing the patient's consciousness. Although the patient is in a deep sleep during the procedure, she is able to perform oral commands from the dentist because she is conscious. During the procedure, the anesthesiologist monitors the patient's pulse and blood pressure by monitoring the patient. In this method, which is defined as a situation where the patient can keep the airway open, responds appropriately to physical stimuli and verbal commands and suppresses consciousness, especially pediatric patients forget that they even come to the dentist after the procedure. After the operation, the patient was treated with oral medication, pain, dislike sounds, and so on. He will not be exposed to psychological trauma. This will facilitate the patient's arrival to dental treatment in subsequent sessions.
WWhat is Genral Anesthesia?
General anesthesia is a method of anesthesia in which the consciousness is removed with the help of drugs and the whole body is under the influence of anesthesia. General anesthesia and surgical treatment (dental extraction, gum treatment, implant, bone graft, bone cyst, etc.) and non-surgical treatment (tooth filling, canal treatment, etc.) can be performed in the full-fledged operating room within our hospital.
